Announces New Board Officers and Members

WAILUKU, Maui, Hawaii - March 15, 2007 - Today, Maui Memorial Medical Center Foundation (MMMCF) announced its new Board officers and members at an Installation Reception held at Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Alexa Higashi Board Room.

Ululani Correa, MMMCF’s Executive Director, and Alexa Kahui (emcee) presided over the installation ceremony of new officers. New officers named were:
Fran Peart Mitsumura (Branch Manager & Owner, First Hawaiian Mortgage) as President
Saedene Ota (President, Sae Design) as Vice President
Clay Sutherland, Esq. (of R. Clay Sutherland, A Law Corporation) as Vice President
Becky Lennon (Controller, Best Western Pioneer Inn) as Secretary
Sharron Courter, C.P.A. (Sharron Courter, C.P.A., LLC) as Treasurer

The Foundation also welcomed its newest members:
Eugene Bal III (Exec Director, Maui High Performance Computing Center, University of Hawaii)
Andrew Don, M.D. (Otolaryngology)
Jim Falk (President, Valley Isle Motors and Jim Falk Motors of Maui)
Gary Fukuroku (Manager/CEO, Maui County Employees Federal Credit Union)
Amy Hanlon (President, Maui Memorial Medical Center Auxiliary)
Anne Oishi (President, Island Honda)
Thomas Rogers, M.D. (Neurosurgeon)
Leslie Ann Yokouchi (Owner/Principal Broker, Aina Maui Properties)

Outgoing Board members were also honored at the event:
Dr. Barry Shitamoto, M.D. (Vice President, Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, Inc.)

William Kepler, M.D. (Pediatrician, retired)
